A Helpful Guide To The Three Pregnancy Stages
May 10th, 2010When people refer to pregnancy stages, they are speaking of trimester one, two and three. If you are a new mom-to-be, it is helpful to understand what your body will go through and how you will feel during the various pregnancy stages. Pregnancy is a journey that you and your baby will take together so allow yourself to enjoy everything that happens in each of the pregnancy stages since you can never duplicate the precious moments and memories again.
First Trimester
The first of the pregnancy stages is referred to as the first trimester. This phase offers some of the most noticeable signs of pregnancy and your body goes through a lot of changes to prepare itself for future pregnancy stages. You may experience fatigue, breast tenderness, headaches, frequent urination and morning sickness, that is in no way limited to the morning. The first pregnancy stages allow your baby to grow to about the size of a cherry and it can move its limbs and has a heartbeat. Of all of the pregnancy stages, this one has the most influence on early development so you must seek prenatal care and be strict about nutrition.
Second Trimester
The next few months of pregnancy stages are the second trimester. This is when you visibly start having a belly large enough to see that you are pregnant. Sleeping problems are often reported but this is probably the most exciting of all of the pregnancy stages. Your baby starts to become active, you can feel kicking and a strong connection develops. This is when most mothers say they first fell in love with their baby.
Third Trimester
The last of the pregnancy stages is the third trimester and this is when you are really ready to give birth. Your tummy is really big and you have to urinate a lot. All of your baby’s organs have developed with the exception of the lungs that continue to do so through this last phase of pregnancy stages. This is the time to take child care and breastfeeding classes and really get ready for your new arrival. All three pregnancy stages are unique and wonderful so enjoy every minute of them.
